5 Activities to Reduce Stress

  1. Read. There is nothing better than taking your mind on a trip to anywhere. Get lost in a novel that expands your mind or just allows you to let go for an hour.

  2. Take a walk. I know this one is cliche, but it works. Being in nature or just the basic ritual of putting one foot in front of the other truly refreshes ones clarity

  3. Scream. Yes, I said scream. The hard part is finding somewhere where no-one will call the cops thinking your being abducted from aliens. Screaming releases hormones similar to exercise. So for the many folks who just hate exercise, scream for some stress relief

  4. Meditate. This is hard in a time where everyone is on auto pilot and are not even aware of their stream of continuous thoughts. To stop and focus on the life force (Breath) and if even for a moment stopping the stream will bring peace.

  5. Exercise. When screaming isn't an option, do a Tabata! Choose one exercise and do it for 20 seconds. Rest for 10 seconds and repeat the exercise for 20 seconds....The goal is 8 rounds! Not only will this relieve stress, you will burn calories folks.
